What are the benefits of becoming a member?

Is there a commitment period for memberships?

Our memberships require a minimum commitment of 12 weeks to ensure that you can fully benefit from our services and see measurable improvement in your game. For those who are ready to commit to a full year, we offer a 10% discount on any membership tier when paid upfront. This is a great option for dedicated golfers looking to maximise their experience and savings.

How do bookings work?

Once you become a member, you can easily book your TrackMan sessions through our BookitLive system. Depending on your membership tier, you'll enjoy different advance booking privileges:

  • Par Member: Book up to 1 week in advance.
  • Birdy Member: Book up to 2 weeks in advance.
  • Eagle Member: Book up to 3 weeks in advance.

This system ensures that all members have fair access to our facilities and can plan their sessions according to their convenience and membership level.

What can I expect during my 1-hour TrackMan session?

During your 1-hour session, you’ll use our top-of-the-line TrackMan simulator to receive instant feedback on your swing. This technology, used by PGA professionals, helps you analyse and improve your performance in real-time. Whether you're practicing your drives, irons, or putting, you'll get valuable insights to enhance your game.

Can I book extra sessions?

Yes, members can book additional sessions for just $30 per hour. Please contact us for special discount code.

How can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

You can change your membership type at any time to better suit your needs. When upgrading or downgrading, you have two options:

  • Continue with Current Membership Term: Finish out the remaining weeks of your current membership. For example, if you have 4 weeks left at a Par membership and you upgrade to our Birdy membership, you can enjoy Birdy benefits until the current term expires (4 weeks).
  • Restart Your 12-Week Commitment: Begin your new membership benefits immediately and reset your 12-week commitment period to take full advantage of the new level from day one.

This flexibility allows you to tailor your membership experience precisely to your changing needs and goals. Just contact our membership services team, and we'll handle the adjustments for you.

What if I need to pause my membership?

We understand that sometimes you may need to take a break. You can pause your membership for as long as you need at no additional cost. However, please note that while your membership is paused, you will not have access to any of the membership benefits, including booking privileges and discounts. When you're ready to return, simply contact us to reactivate your membership and resume enjoying all the benefits.

Can family members use my membership?

Memberships at The Golf Lab are designed for individual use to ensure members can focus on improving their golf skills. However, based on your membership level, you can share your golfing experience with others through our guest pass system:

  • Par Member: Receives 1 guest pass.
  • Birdy Member: Receives 2 guest passes.
  • Eagle Member: Receives 3 guest passes.

Each guest pass allows for a one-hour session that your guest can use at their convenience. While you are welcome to bring a friend or family member along to your scheduled member session, please note that memberships are intended for personal use. The primary goal is to provide serious golfers with the tools and time they need to enhance their skills, rather than for casual group play during every session.

What happens if I don’t use my membership benefits within a month?

Membership benefits such as session bookings do not roll over to the next month. We encourage all members to utilise their benefits within each month to get the most value from their membership.

The Golf Lab is located in Ocean Grove, Victoria. Our state-of-the-art indoor golf studio is easily accessible, offering the perfect environment for golfers of all levels to improve their game.
